VVentures is an independent project run by Victor in Nigeria. For privacy questions, account deletion, or requests about information you have submitted, use the contact page.

Files processed on your device

Many tools, including PDF Merge, Image Compressor, QR Code Generator, and the text and developer utilities, process your input in your browser. These tools do not send that input to VVentures for processing. Downloads are saved when you choose to save them. Some browser tools download software or model files from external hosts to work.

This does not mean every feature on the site is local. Review the following section before submitting sensitive information.

Tools that use external services

AI image and logo generation send prompts to Pollinations; prompt text can appear in request URLs. AI writing uses Groq and may fall back to Pollinations. Speech transcription can send audio to Groq, with a browser model as a fallback. Text-to-speech uses Groq or Google services depending on the mode.

Image to Text can send an image to OCR.space, and Background Remover can send one to remove.bg. Both also have browser fallbacks. The video downloader sends requested links to a separate processing server. The phishing checker looks up domain and threat information using external sources.

These providers and our hosting services may handle request information and operational logs under their own policies. Do not submit passwords, confidential documents, or personal information unless you are comfortable with the processing involved. Accounts, payments, and messages

Supabase provides account authentication and stores account information such as email address and subscription status. Authentication data is stored in your browser to keep you signed in. Free tool access requires an account when the account service is configured.

Paystack processes subscriptions and payment details. VVentures receives transaction and subscription information needed to manage access; it does not receive your complete card number. Contact and support messages, including any email address you supply, are stored so we can handle them.

Polls, their options, and submitted votes are stored in our database. Shared poll pages are accessible to people with the link, and poll creators can view the voting information their poll collects. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into public polls.

Digital purchases and support chat

VVentures stores your purchased products, account ID, email, order total, accepted purchase policy and payment reference in Supabase. Paystack processes the payment. Paid files are held in private storage and downloads require your signed in account. Short lived file links allow delivery.

Support chat stores the messages you and Victor send, any email you provide, and the page where you started the conversation. A private conversation token in this browser lets you return to your messages. Clearing browser data removes your access to that conversation. Your shopping bag is also saved in this browser. We use hashed network identifiers temporarily to limit abuse. Do not send card details or passwords in chat.

Usage information and browser storage

We count tool-page visits to understand which tools people use. Vercel Analytics also measures site usage. Hosting and service providers may process technical information, including network addresses, for operating and securing their services.

Local storage and session storage record free tool allowances, completed video downloads, and a device identifier used by voting. Blocking or clearing browser storage can affect these features. You can manage stored site data through your browser settings.

Advertising and consent

VVentures is preparing to use Google AdSense. Publisher verification and ads.txt are present; live ad serving is currently disabled while approval and consent setup are pending.

When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted and consented to, personalise advertising using visits to this and other sites. Before serving ads where Google requires it, we will implement a Google-certified consent management platform, including for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Its controls will let visitors make and revisit consent choices. No advertising consent banner is needed for the current setup because no ad requests are made.

Retention and your choices

Account, subscription, feedback, poll, and usage records can remain in our systems while needed to operate the service, handle requests, and meet applicable obligations. External providers may have different retention periods. Browser file tools do not create a server-side copy of the files they process locally.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your account or messages through the contact page. We may need to confirm ownership before acting. Some billing or security records may need to be retained. Processing by providers may take place outside Nigeria.

Children and policy changes

The service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us. We will update this page when the way the service handles information changes.
